What Are The Common Types Of High-pressure Rubber Hoses?
Jun 20, 2026
High-pressure rubber hoses come in a variety of common types.
Based on application, there are hydraulic high-pressure rubber hoses, mainly used in hydraulic systems of engineering machinery, aerospace, and other equipment to transmit high-pressure hydraulic oil, requiring good pressure resistance and sealing performance; steam high-pressure rubber hoses, used to transport high-temperature steam, requiring materials with high-temperature resistance; and chemical high-pressure rubber hoses, used to transport various chemical media, requiring good corrosion resistance.
Based on structure, there are braided high-pressure rubber hoses, which enhance hose strength and improve pressure resistance through braided layers, suitable for general high-pressure applications; and spiral wound high-pressure rubber hoses, whose spiral layers allow them to withstand even higher pressures, commonly used in ultra-high-pressure environments.
Based on connection method, there are flanged high-pressure rubber hoses, providing a secure connection and good sealing performance, suitable for high-pressure, large-diameter pipeline systems; threaded high-pressure rubber hoses, easy to install, suitable for small-diameter, low-pressure pipeline systems; and clamped high-pressure rubber hoses, quick to install and disassemble, suitable for pipeline systems requiring frequent disassembly and maintenance.
