Metal hoses generally consist of three main parts: a corrugated tube, a braided sleeve, and a connector. The corrugated tube is the body of the metal hose, providing flexibility; the braided sleeve provides reinforcement and shielding; and the connector provides the connection. The connection methods vary depending on the application requirements: the corrugated tube, braided sleeve, and connector are connected by welding (welded type); they are connected by mechanical clamping (mechanical clamping type); and there is also a combination of both methods (hybrid type).

 

Metal hose products include oil suction/transfer hoses, steam hoses, sandblasting hoses, acid/alkali suction/transfer hoses, food-grade hoses, oxygen blowing hoses, and various special-shaped hoses. They are widely used in machinery, chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, and food industries.

 

What is the pressure range of pressure-resistant metal hoses? The pressure range of hoses is generally PN0.6–32.0 MPa, with a maximum of 42.0 MPa. Metal hoses are the main pressure-bearing components in pressure pipelines, and also serve as a protective sleeve for corrugated pipes. Depending on the pressure in the pipeline and the application, one or more layers of stainless steel wire or steel strip can be braided.
